What a fabulous choice to sail along the French Riviera!

Welcome, and set sail for your 7-day sailing itinerary, embarking for a Cannes holidays. This city is known for its famous festival “Festival de Cannes”, an international film festival, also known for its red carpet and which welcome a number of prestigious guests.

To explore the different places that the Mediterranean coast offers, we recommend renting a motorboat. The Mediterranean Sea remains calm all year round to sail along the Riviera, so motorboats are a good choice in order to discover in the best conditions with all the comfort you need!

To begin your journey in the best way, next to the Pierre Canto port, you will have easy access to park your car at the adjoining parking. Before onboarding your boat, you can walk around, and you will find waterfront restaurants at only 10 minutes from the port.

“Chez Jean-jean“, a pizzeria food-truck for quick dinners, or “Le duplex” which has a nice overview on the Mediterranean Sea. Walking around also permits you to uncover secret beaches, where there is a nice overview of Sainte Marguerite island and Cannes’ bay.

🏁As soon as you onboarded your boat, you can finally start your Cannes holidays! 🏁

Day 1 : Cannes Holidays: from Cannes to Îles de Lerins – St Marguerite (2NM | 30M)

⛵ Begin your journey by positioning yourself at your first stop, Ile Marguerite. One of the main Lerins islands, it is only 30 minutes away from the marina. This place aspire for peacefulness and tranquillity, and uncover beautiful green landscapes and viewpoints. After mooring, you can either bring your picnic to eat on the beach or you can find areas with picnic tables, surrounded by the sound of the waves and of nature. You will find several restaurants and snacks at your disposal, which possess a different range of price with splendid views of the water.

🌱 To fully enjoy your stop, you can either walk around the island with nature and the sea as a background, you can visit the Royal fort. Also, discover the underwater eco museum where you can see the impressive sculptures by Jason de Caires Taylor.

Day 2 : Cannes Holidays: from Îles de Lerins to Saint-Tropez (26NM | 3H 45M)

What would Saint-Tropez be without its colourful and traditional architecture, and its summer atmosphere?

On your second day, head towards Saint-Tropez, a place which is known for its dolce vita and nightlife. This destination attracted the “jet set” lifestyle in the 1960s and now remains known for welcoming a lot of celebrities and for boasting chic and authentic vibes.

You can start by mooring at the old port, walk toward the paved areas in the old city, passing in front the yachts mooring one next to the other, to get an idea of how life is in Saint-Tropez, before going to see the city’s citadel.

What is better than eating in a typical restaurant in the old city?

🥘 “La bagatelle” restaurant is ideal for tasty food at a correct price, and it allows you to immerse yourself as a real Tropezian.

Day 3 : Cannes Holidays: from Saint-Tropez to Cap Camarat (8NM | 1H 15M)

🌟To continue this Cannes holiday, prepare yourself to set sail and to navigate along the coast at your own allure to enjoy the scenery with transparent and calm water, to slip away from reality. Cap Camarat is a great background to escape reality and to enjoy sailing on your getaway. There you will see Camarat’ lighthouse, which will add charm to this picturesque environment.

Day 4 : Cannes Holidays: from Cap Camarat to Calanques de l’Estérel (17NM | 2H 30M)

🌊When the red rocks meet the pine trees, with azure sea, the result is the Calanques d’Estérel.

On the fourth day of your sailing trip, don’t miss out this heaven on earth which is situated between Saint-Raphaël and Théoule-sur-mer, along the corniche d’or, the Calanques stretch on approximately forty kilometres, offering a breathtaking decor to sail with along. Naturally, you can anchor to enjoy watersports such as paddleboarding or kayaking to explore the little hidden creeks.

The trip is almost coming to an end… don’t worry, there’s one last place waiting for you: the Île Saint Honorat! This small island is bursting with riches and offers a complete change of scenery, calm and spirituality. It has been inhabited for several centuries by the monks of the Abbey of Lerins. They devote themselves to prayer and the production of wine, liqueurs and olive oil. This island gives you the feeling of serenity and a pure immersion of south of France culture.
