Renowned as one of the world’s premier yachting destinations, Antigua boasts steady trade winds, secluded coves, and vibrant coral reefs waiting to be explored. The island’s rich maritime heritage and diverse coastline offer endless possibilities to spend some quality time in Antigua. 

Set sail from Jolly Harbour Marina and discover Antigua and its many surrounding tiny islands. Eventually, our route gets you to Barbuda, where pink sand beaches await. Immerse yourself in the rhythm of island life as you navigate between bays, enjoying the Caribbean cuisine as well as Antigua’s legendary hospitality. 

Join us for a Caribbean sailing experience like no other! 

Day 1: Jolly Harbour Marina to Green Island 21NM | 2HRS 37MINS

Firstly, kick off your sailing holiday at the lovely Jolly Harbour Marina. As the name suggests, this place is full of good vibes only and is sure to put a smile on your face! 

Soak up the sun on the long stretch of soft white sand on Jolly beach, while relaxing under the swaying palm trees, and enjoying in beachside cocktails at one of the nearby bars.

If you’re looking for more active pastimes, you can kayak and paddleboard to exhilarating scuba diving spots exploring vibrant coral reefs. As well as this, for some on-land activity, indulge in a round of golf at the scenic Jolly Harbour Golf Club. 

When you’re ready, set sail from Jolly Harbour Marina to Green Island, a small uninhabited island just off the coast of Antigua. Anchor in the protected bay on the west side of the island and enjoy snorkelling and swimming next to the turtles.🐢

Day 2: Green Island to Nonsuch Bay 6NM | 44MINS

Leave the small isolated Green Island and sail to Nonsuch Bay, a secluded bay on the east coast of Antigua. Here, there are opportunities for hiking and exploring the nearby mangroves. With consistent trade winds and shallow waters, Nonsuch Bay is a popular destination for kiteboarding enthusiasts. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced kite boarder, the bay’s conditions provide the perfect opportunity to ride the waves and catch some air.🏄🪁

Day 3: Nonsuch Bay to Great Bird Island 8NM | 1HR

Bid farewell to the kite boarders paradise of Nonsuch bay and sail to Great Bird Island, another small, uninhabited island just off the coast of Antigua. Firstly, anchor off the beach and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. 

True to its name, Great Bird Island is a haven for birdwatchers. Keep your eyes peeled for a variety of bird species, including frigate birds, tropic birds, and pelicans. Binoculars are recommended to observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.🦅

Day 4: Great Bird Island to Barbuda 25NM | 3HRS 07MINS  

Move on to Barbuda, a small island about 25 miles north of Antigua. Anchor in the protected bay on the west side of the island and enjoy the beautiful pink sand beaches. Barbuda is home to the Frigate Bird Sanctuary, where you can observe the magnificent frigate birds.🐦

Explore the charming village of Codrington, the main settlement on Barbuda. Additionally, visit the Barbuda Museum to learn about the island’s history, culture, and ecology.

Day 5: Barbuda to Deep Bay 29NM | 3HRS 27MINS

Sail to Deep Bay, a beautiful bay on the northwest coast of Antigua. Anchor off the beach and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Go for a hike and explore the nearby fort ruins.

Alternatively, spend a relaxing day lounging on the golden sands of Deep Bay Beach. Take a dip in the calm, turquoise waters or simply soak up the sun while enjoying the stunning views of the bay and nearby Fort Barrington.

Embark on a scenic hike to Fort Barrington, a historic fort perched atop the cliffs overlooking Deep Bay. Follow the well-marked trail through lush vegetation and enjoy panoramic views of the bay and surrounding coastline from the fort’s vantage points.

Day 6: Deep Bay to Dickenson Bay 4NM | 30MINS

Make way to your last new destination, Dickenson Bay, a beautiful bay on the northwest coast of Antigua. Anchor off the beach and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Explore the Several small uninhabited islands and the one-mile long coral reef which can be found off the coast of the bay.

Experience the breathtaking beauty of a Caribbean sunset from Dickenson Bay. Finally, find a cosy spot on the beach or enjoy the view from a waterfront restaurant as the sky is painted in shades of orange, pink, and purple.🌅

Day 7: Dickenson Bay to Jolly Harbour Marina 9NM | 1HR 07MINS

Sail back to Jolly Harbour Marina and enjoying your final day on the sea. Explore Jolly Harbour when you disembark and involve yourself in the numerous activities available to you. Alternatively, sit back, relax and reminisce on your wonderful time in Antigua boating with Click&Boat!
