This boat route in and around Zadar offers you a unique opportunity to experience the diversity of the Dalmatian coastline. From hidden coves to majestic waterfalls, and archaeological treasures to local traditions, there you will find everything you need!
⚓ To get off to a good start, before boarding the boat to begin your trip from the Marina Tankerkomerc, it has easy access to get in and out quickly. Before checking in, you will find restaurants just 8 minutes from the boat moorings, such as the “Barka bar & Caffe” or the “Bistro Pizzeria Stil“.

Day 1: Croatia map: from Zadar to Dugi Otok (25 NM | 3H 45 min)
On your first day, sail towards the northwest to reach Dugi Otok, one of the largest islands in the Zadar archipelago. Here you can moor in the picturesque Telascica Nature Park, known for its impressive cliffs and saltwater lake. Once there, you can explore the park’s hiking trails, swim in the clear waters and enjoy a quiet evening surrounded by nature.
Day 2: Croatia map: from Dugi Otok to Kornati National Park (20 NM | 3H 15 min)
The next day, it’s time to sail 20 nautical miles east to the Kornati National Park, an archipelago of 89 islands of all sizes. So it’s time to drop anchor in one of the park’s secluded bays and explore the vibrant marine life while snorkelling or diving to see the reefs and colourful fish.
A hike to one of the islands’ lookout points is also a must for a beautiful panoramic view of Zadar and the surrounding area. A popular viewpoint is Fort Tureta. It is located on the highest elevation of the island of Kornat and offers vital information about the defensive strategies of the past.
Day 3: Croatia map: from Kornati National Park to Sibenik (35 NM | 4H 15 min)
We continue sailing 35 nautical miles further south to the historic town of Sibenik, which is located on the mainland.
Here you can’t miss the UNESCO World Heritage Site St. James Cathedral and the medieval fortresses of St. Michael and St. Nicholas. You can also stroll through the narrow streets of the old town and enjoy the local cuisine in one of the seafront restaurants.
Day 4: Croatia map: from Sibenik to Skradin/Krka National Park (10 NM | 1H 30 min)
Today we drive along the Krka River to the town of Skradin, which is the gateway to the Krka National Park, one of the most iconic and spectacular stops on our trip to Croatia. This park is famous for its seven waterfalls, especially Skradinski Buk and Roški Slap. As well as for its rich flora and fauna that make for a spectacular landscape. You can also visit Visovac, a small island in the middle of the Krka River, where you will find a picturesque Franciscan monastery and a 15th century church.
Day 5: Croatia map: from Skadrin to Zlarin/Prvic (5 NM | 45 min)
The journey to Croatia continues, and it’s time to sail to the nearby islands of Zlarin and Prvic, known for their tranquil atmosphere and unspoilt beauty.
The former, Zlarin, has no cars and is renowned for its coral divers and charming stone houses. Here you will find numerous quiet coves offering perfect places to relax, swim and sunbathe. The second, Prvic, has the charming and picturesque village of Sepurine, where you can stroll through the narrow streets and visit the Fausto Vrancic Memorial Centre.
Day 6: Croatia map: from Zlarin/Prvic to Murter (10 NM | 1H 30M)
Sail back to the coast and head to the island of Murter, anchor in one of the charming bays such as Slanica or Kosirina and enjoy a relaxing day at the beach.
You can also visit the town of Tisno, known for its movable bridge that connects the island of Murter to the mainland. It also hosts a large annual music festival, which attracts visitors from all over the world, making it a place of worldwide interest.
In the evening, you can continue exploring the town of Murter and enjoy fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants.
Day 7: Croatia map: from Murter back to Zadar (40 NM | 4H 30 min)
The trip to Croatia is over, and it’s finally time to return to the starting point. But in the meantime, you can still enjoy the charm of the coast and its spectacular panoramic views.
And in the evening, of course, you will be able to watch the beautiful sunset in Zadar, before ending this unique and unforgettable experience by boat along the Croatian coast.
