Turquoise waters, mountainous landscapes and Greek charm – these three factors will resume your sailing holiday on the Ionian Islands with our Corfu map that we propose. Start sailing in Corfu and continue travelling south. Many highlights await you on the week-long route, from charming coastal towns to paradisiacal beaches.

Experience pure freedom on your sailboat thanks to our Corfu map and create unforgettable memories with your loved ones.

🧭 Welcome on board to your Corfu maps guide for your 7-day itinerary! 🧭

Day 1 : Corfu Maps: Marina Gouvia, Corfu

🏁 To begin your Greek holiday, before you embark in Corfu, it is worth visiting the city itself. Here you will find, among other things, the old fortress of Corfu. It offers you an insight into the rich history and strategic importance of Corfu. In the old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can stroll through charming alleyways and discover historic buildings.

We invite you to rent your boat at Marina Gouvia, situated next to Corfu and 20 minutes by car from Corfu International Airport “Ioannis Kapodistrias”. Near this marina, you will find a car park just across the port. There are also traditional Greek restaurants such as “Argo” or pizzerias, “O Sole Mio, Da Enzo”, with reasonable prices.

Corfu is the ideal place to start your week-long sailing adventure in the Ionian Islands!

Day 2 : Corfu Maps: from Corfu to Paxos and Antipaxos (27 SM | 3H 50M)

On your first day of sailing, sail to Gaios on the island of Paxos. Here you should visit Erimitis beach on the West Coast, where you can explore fantastic blue caves nearby with your chartered boat.

🏊 Continue to sail towards Antipaxos to swim in turquoise-coloured waters, experience the pure Caribbean feeling! We also recommend Voutoumi Beach here, which permits you to snorkel and swim in the clear water and sunbathe on deck under the Greek sun! A sailboat offers endless possibilities for exploration and enjoyment!

Day 3 : Corfu Maps: from Antipaxos to Lefkada (35 SM | 4H 15M)

On day 3 of your holiday, sail in Lefkada’s direction. You will sail along the coast of the island!

Porto Katsiki beach, is a must-do place, it’s one of the most famous beaches in Greece, known for its steep cliffs and azure waters. You should definitely make a stop there, to relax and soak in the island’s laid-back atmosphere.

🏖️ The beaches of Egremni and Vassiliki are also highly recommended for anchoring. You can explore the island’s natural beauty by hiking at Mount Skaros. There’s something for everyone.

Day 4 : Corfu Maps: from Lefkada to Meganisi (14 SM | 2H)

Next, to continue your sailing trip, hop over to Vathi at Meganisi. You will find beaches that are only accessible by boat, which means they are less crowded. Try Fanar or Megalo Limonari, they are rocky beaches with clear waters and green landscapes.

Day 5 : Corfu Maps: from Meganisi to Lefkas (15 SM | 2H)

⚓ To continue making your sail trip a perfect experience, anchor at Scorpios Island and disembark for a swim at Lefkas Island’s fantastic beaches. To the west of the town you will find the long sandy beach of Agios Ioannis, which is very popular with windsurfers and calls out for a long swim in the Mediterranean!

Sail on to the island’s capital, Lefkada Town, and enjoy the Greek flair with its many cafés and tavernas. Try traditional dishes such as “savoro” (fish in a vinegar and rosemary sauce) or “ladopita” (an olive oil cake). Stroll through the small streets to admire the traditional architecture and discover small boutiques, art galleries and souvenir shops.

🏰 Additionally, you can visit the impressive Agia Mavra fortress at the entrance to the town, which was built in the 14th century. The fortress not only offers an insight into the history of the island, but also picturesque views of the surrounding landscape and the sea.

Day 6 : Corfu Maps: from Lekas to Sivota (40 SM | 4H 30M)

It’s almost the end…but don’t worry, Sivota is still awaiting you! Explore the uninhabited islands of Sivota and Agios Nikolaos, as well as the fishing village of Mourtos Marina on the mainland. If the marina is busy, you should visit the anchorages in Sand-bar Bay. In Sivota Bay itself, you can relax on your boat or have fun doing water sports.

🥗 The surrounding tavernas offer delicious local dishes with typical Greek cuisine, so do not hesitate to go taste it!
