Sailing enthusiasts: it’s time to announce the Click&Boat partnership with 727 Sailbags! We are launching an innovative recycling program with Europe’s leading designer of recycled sails, created especially for sailing boat owners.

Your sail has been through countless adventures and sometimes daunting conditions, but it can still tell many more stories. By joining us in this ecological initiative, you are giving your used sails a unique chance to be transformed and to sail through time in a new form. Would you have imagined that your sail can create a one-of-a-kind deckchair? It’s now possible thanks to the Click&Boat partnership with 727 Sailbags.

For boat renters, over 17,000 sailing boats, catamarans and gulets are now available on Click&Boat. Another reason to take to the open seas!

🔄 How can you take part in the Click&Boat x 727 Sailbags operation?

  1. Collect your used sails
  2. Contact 727 via Click&Boat to organise the collection. To do this, simply fill in your location and the number and size of sails you wish to recycle, by completing the survey available via this Typeform link.
  3. 727 Sailbags will contact you to organise the collection.
  4. Watch as they are transformed into unique and sustainable products – creations that carry with them the spirit of the sea and adventure.

⛵ Sail buy-back conditions

As a boat owner, 727 Sailbags will buy back your sails for €2/m² in the form of a voucher, and your spinnakers for €1/m². The reason for this: Spinnakers often have a larger surface area and need less. But quality is key! If the materials do not meet their criteria, the price offered by 727 Sailbags par may be revised downwards, or we may even refuse sails that are too damaged.

Using your vouchers

Once you have redeemed your sail, you will receive a VIP code. Use this code on the 727 Sailbags website at the end of your order, where you will discover a variety of products made from recycled sails. Please note: this code is valid for one year, and we offer free shipping on all standard deliveries within mainland France.

Shipping options

Do you have sails to send? If you can drop off your sails directly, this is the quickest and easiest way. The collection address is: 9 rue Lieutenant de Vaisseau Bourely, 56100 Lorient.

To facilitate the process, our partnership, 727 Sailbags, also organises collection rounds several times a year. In some cases, particularly for large stocks, we can call on the services of carriers, for no extra cost to you.

Join us in this eco-responsible adventure, and let’s set sail to make a difference!
