Day 1: Split map: Check-in ACI Marina Split
⛵ The starting point of the sailing route with your charter boat is the ACI Marina Split. Near there, there are restaurants within easy reach from the marina.
The city is known for its lively old town, with its orange roofs, built around Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Before setting sail the next day, take some time to explore the historic sights, the lively markets and the impressive harbour promenade.
Day 2: Split map: from Split to Vis (29 NM | 4H)
On your first day, set sail and start your Split holiday on board. Enjoy the sea breeze as you sail towards the island of Vis on a sunny sailing day. Admire the unique view of the city. After arrival, it’s time for swimming and snorkelling before you dock in the harbour of Vis.
🌳 Vis is the furthest inhabited Croatian island from the mainland. Known for its unspoilt nature, beautiful beaches and excellent wine, it offers a tranquil atmosphere. The island served as a military base during the Cold War, which is why it was only opened up to tourism late. However, this has helped Vis to retain its original charm.
Day 3: Split map: from Vis to Vela Luka/Korčula (24 NM | 3H 20M)
🌊 In the morning, you leave Vis and sail to the small island of Bisevo, where you can visit the magical “Blue Cave“. In this impressive sea cave, the sunlight creates blue reflections. The visit depends on the weather conditions and the time of day. Later, you will continue to Vela Luka, where you will spend the night.
The town of Vela Luka is known for its prehistoric archaeological sites as well as its natural beauty, which has inspired numerous artists and musicians. The bay of Vela Luka offers safe anchorages and is a great starting point for exploring the surrounding area.
Day 4: Split map: from Vela Luka to Korčula town (30 NM | 4H 25M)
Continue your sailing trip, after navigating for half a day around the island of Korčula, visit Korčula town for your next stop of your Split holiday.
Often referred to as ‘Little Dubrovnik‘, Korčula Town is known for its impressive medieval architecture, including the well-preserved town walls and towers. The city also claims to be the birthplace of Marco Polo, and a visit to the Marco Polo Museum is a must for history buffs.

Day 5: Split map: from Korčula town via the Paklinski Islands to Hvar (34 NM | 4H 45M)
🏖️ In the morning, sail from Korčula town through the Paklinski archipelago to the island of Hvar. It’s known for its sunny days, blue waters and idyllic beaches, charming stone streets and old Venetian palaces.
The small Paklinski archipelago offers sailors quiet bays and clear waters, ideal for swimming and snorkelling. The unspoilt nature and seclusion of the islands make them the perfect place for those seeking peace and quiet.
Day 6: Split map: from Hvar via Zlatni Rat (Brac) back to Split (25 NM | 3H 30M)
Last but not least… From Hvar, sail back to Split. On the way, you will make a final swimming stop on the island of Brac, at the most famous beach in Croatia: Zlatni Rat. This beach is known for its unique pointed shape and turquoise water. It is also ideal for water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing.
Then, sail back to Split from here, enjoy the view and the sunset. Anchor for the evening in a bay or in the marina itself.
