Day 1: Amalfi Coast Italy holidays: from Salerno to Amalfi (10NM – 1h40m)
☀️ It’s time to navigate! For your first day, sail towards Amalfi, an appreciated tourist destination throughout the world. The beauty of the surrounding natural site, the development of small streets in the medieval historic centre. Also, the mixture of various cultural influences from all over the Mediterranean made the city a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. For this reason, we strongly suggest to anchor or dock in the port and have a visit. It will be worth it. Then trace the route north and go to Atrani Beach or to the nearby Lido di Ravello Spiaggia di Castiglione. There, tropical seabeds full of fauna await just you and your family or friends for long snorkelling sessions with friends.
Day 2: Amalfi Coast Italy holidays: from Amalfi to Positano (7.8NM- 1h)
🏘️ Next, continue your journey going north. Following the coast, you will pass by the city of Positano. It’s another peculiar and one of the most attractive destinations in Amalfi Coast. As well as being a UNESCO protected site, Positano is typical for the many stairways that from the top of the town come down to the beach.
The main beaches are Spiaggia Grande and Fornillo, both reachable by feet from the town; the others are La Porta, Arienzo and San Pietro Laurito. All of them can be reached mainly by sea, so enjoy this privilege.
Day 3: Amalfi Coast Italy holidays: from Positano to Nerano (7.7NM – 1h)
🏞️ In your 2 weeks trip in Campania and Amalfi Coast, Nerano is definitely a stop that needs to be done, even only for gastronomic reasons. Indeed, beside the beautiful Marina del Cantone bay. Composed of several stone beaches, with rocky bottoms and clear waters, it makes it a popular atmosphere for scuba diving lovers. Keep in mind, Nerano is famous for its fish restaurants overlooking the sea.
Choosing one of these, you will truly appreciate, especially if you focus on the local dish par excellence, “spaghetti alla Nerano” (with zucchini and provolone del Monaco). All the restaurants prepare them, but you can find the “doc recipe” at Mariagrazia. The restaurant to which we owe the invention of this dish.
✨ If you are looking for gourmet experiences, taste the starred cuisine of the “Quattro Passi” and “Taverna del Capitano” restaurants, while for a more exclusive location book a table at the “Conca del Sogno beach club“.
Day 4: Amalfi Coast Italy holidays: from Nerano to Capri (5.6NM – 45m)
Going on north, the area of Amalfi Coast will end, and you will be able to see the island of Capri, which could be your perfect next stop in the trip. Located in the bay of Naples, with its 6km long and 3km wide, it is with no doubt one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean. With its unique architectonic style and morphology, it has points of considerable interest such as the Tragara viewpoint, the Faraglioni and Grotta Azzura (only accessible by boat) and some ruins of Roman villas.
From a culinary point of view, the “Caprese salad” takes its name from the island. Also, the limoncello has island origins, as well as the “Caprese cake“. In Capri, the prices of berths in the marina are limited and usually quite expensive, ranging from 100 to 500 euros for a sailing boat (suggested sleeping in a beautiful bay).
Day 5: Amalfi Coast Italy holidays: from Capri to Napoli (19.3NM – 2h50m)
🌇 The next stop of your beautiful trip is Naples, pearl of the Campania region and guardian of some of the greatest historical and artistic heritages in the world. It contains some of the most beautiful treasures of Italian culture.

The rocks that surround the island, the suggestive cave of Punta Della Parata and the view of the beautiful pine forests. Thanks to the nice Mediterranean climate, Ischia is also known for excellent products such as wine, oranges, olive trees and fruits of various kinds. From your boat, don’t miss the opportunity to watch the sunset on the Mediterranean, this place offers unique ones.

🌋After the last morning swim in Ischia, you can start setting sail to Pontine Islands, the archipelago of volcanic origin situated between Rome and Naples. With the island of Ponza, Ventotene is the only inhabited island of the archipelago. It is located almost exactly in the middle between Ischia and Ponza and represent a perfect stop in order to avoid a possible long and tiring navigation.
The two ports divide the two main sandy bays of the island: Cala Rossano to the north and Cala Nave to the south. So you could potentially visit just one during the stop and the other one on the way back to Campania. During your stay, you can quickly sail to the small island of Santo Stefano, only about 1 km from the south-eastern coast of Ventotene, a natural paradise with crystal waters.
Day 8: Amalfi Coast Italy holidays: from Ventotene to Ponza (25.5NM – 2h30m)
🌊 After around 2h30 of navigation, you will finally head to Ponza, the main island of Pontine archipelago. History, nature, transparent sea and an excellent gastronomic tradition: Ponza is an island full of surprises. However, the port of Ponza is quite small and very crowded. So the good thing if the desire is to dock is calling days before and booking a spot. In high season can range from 70 to 200 euro per night for a sailboat.
Day 9: Amalfi Coast Italy holidays: from Ponza to Zannone (6NM – 40 min)
🌸 Get back on your sailboat, start to navigate to the north-east of Ponza will take you to Zannone, a small uninhabited island and part of the Circeo national park. For the scarce human presence on the island, Zannone is a paradise of flora and fauna. It makes it perfect for trekking and snorkelling. Visiting the land is allowed, but is not allowed to sleep there for the night.
Day 10: Amalfi Coast Italy holidays: from Zannone to Palmarola (9.7NM – 1h40m)
Palmarola is located about 10 km west of Ponza and is the third-largest island of the archipelago, after Ponza and Ventotene. Boaters are very attracted by its turquoise waters and natural landscapes. It’s definitely a must if chartering in that area.
Day 11: Amalfi Coast Italy holidays: from Palmarola to Ventotene (one more time) (30.6NM – 4h40m)

Therefore, it’s very close to Ischia and Napoli and perfect stop after the trip to Pontine, continue your trip to island of Procida. Additionally, it’s a beautiful and peculiar destination, which attracts many tourists and boaters. Only 3.4 km distant from the mainland, Procida is characterized by small coloured houses, which make the landscape very suggestive. It is possible to dock at the marina for a cost of around 130/150 euros. Don’t hesitate to visit the town, and eat in one of its beautiful restaurants by the sea or in the centre.
Day 13: Amalfi Coast Italy holidays: from Procida to Sorrento (19.15NM – 2h7m)
